You May have notice that a lot of our top 10 lists revolve around food… well no judging. Walt Disney World food can be pretty incredible. This list take a focus on the various dessert options that stand out. While I could easily make a list of the top 100 desserts on property, let’s try starting with 10.

10. Vanilla Creme Brûlée
Chefs De France- let me start off by saying that I could easily make a list of the top 10 Crème Brûlée options in Walt Disney World (and I might eventually), but I’ll limit this choice as the only one for this list. Located in Epcot’s Chef De France, this crème brûlée is just the right level of sweetness mixed with a crisp vanilla flavour and the creamy texture of the dessert. If you’re having dinner here, give this a try!

9. Macaron Ice-Cream Sandwich
L’Artisan des Glaces- staying in Epcot’s World Showcase, the France pavilion is home to these delicious snacks. If you’re an ice cream sandwich fan, give these a try. They’ll be sure to impress. I’m not even a huge macaron fan, but these really hit the spot. There are many flavour options available as well, so you can tailor this to what you’re in the mood for.

8. Plaza Ice-Cream
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor- not only does the Plaza Ice-Cream Parlor have delicious ice cream, but the location within the Magic Kingdom can’t be beat. Take a seat at one of the many umbrella-tables and people watch with Cinderella castle in the background. I can’t emphasize how many vivid, family memories I have doing this exact thing. Take a step back and enjoy where you are.

7. Chocolate Wave
Coral Reef- chocolate lovers listen up, this flourless chocolate cake does not disappoint. Served over a raspberry purée and paired with raspberry ice cream, the flavours balance each other perfectly. I actually make reservations at Coral Reef specifically with the desire to grab this dessert. Yes, they have great dining options as well, but this is the highlight of my meal.

6. Candy Apples
Various locations- yes, the candy apples in Walt Disney World May have very similar flavour profiles to other candy apples out there, but there’s something quintessentially disney about ordering one of these Mickey-shaped treats. You can find various locations selling these around the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, but to make the experience even better, try to find a location that makes them in front of you.

5. Churros
Nomad Lounge- While there are various churro options available in Walt Disney World, I’m specifically talking about the ones found in Animal Kingdom’s Nomad Lounge. These gluten-free treats will leave you with a churro obsession, even if you were never a fan prior to your visit. Served with two dipping sauces (vanilla and coffee flavoured, although sometimes the flavours change), these snacks have the perfect level of crisp and softness.

4. No Way Jose Sundae
Beaches & Cream- Head on over to Disney’s Beach Club resort to try this delightful sundae, blending peanut butter and chocolaty goodness into one delicious dessert. Note that it’s a pretty massive sundae, so you may want to share, although I never do… For those of you who aren’t peanut butter or chocolate fans, Beaches & Cream has loads of other dessert options that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

3. Beignets
Port Orleans French Quarter- So I’ll start by saying that my top three dessert options can pretty much be interchanged; I love them all equally. Currently found at Scat Cat’s Club at Port Orleans French Quarter, these beignets will provide you with a snack that you‘ll never stop thinking about. Whether you opt for the classic Mickey shaped beignets, get an allergy-friendly option, or get a an alcohol-filled beignet, you will be satisfied beyond imagination. Plus, you’ll get to explore a lovely resort while you’re there!

2. Zebra Domes
Animal Kingdom Lodge- Located at both Boma and the Mara, these white chocolate desserts filled with Amarula cream liquour mousse will melt your taste buds. Typically these desserts are held by a thin layer of cake at the bottom, but for those who prefer a more truffle-like option, give the gluten-free zebra domes a try, which basically removes the cake layer and adds an extra coating of chocolate to the bottom of the dessert.

1. Dole Whip
Multiple Locations- Last, but definitely not least, is the classic Dole Whip. If you’ve read any list of Disney snacks, you’ve likely come across this dessert. Enjoy this frozen dessert as a float or simply as the soft serve on its own. Depending on the location you’re at, you will find options such as pineapple, mango, watermelon, lime, or some more speciality flavours. For first timers, I highly recommend trying the pineapple or a pineapple-vanilla swirl. This is another one of those desserts that you’ll be thinking about long after your trip.
